Central Oregon Residential Market Numbers Continue to Rise


According to MLS the Central Oregon residential housing market is up compared to 2011. In September of 2012 there were 431 residential properties sold, an 8% increase from September 2011. Likewise, October of 2012 saw an increase in sold residential properties. There were 455 residential properties sold, up 12% from October of 2011.
                                                                                    
The number of sold properties is not the only things increasing. The average selling price of a home in September 2012 was $242,913 – up 19% from September of 2011. October’s average residential home selling price was $238,001 – up 9% from the previous year. In Bend, along with the rest of Central Oregon, the numbers continue to indicate that the market is on its way back up.
