Every season in Central Oregon seems to be everyone's favorite, it's hard to pinpoint the greatest one. 6TH ANNUAL PUP CRAWL



Come out for one – or all – evenings of HSCO’s 6th annual Pup Crawl! This fun event raises critical funding for the animals in our care, and supports generous local businesses at the same time.

MOONLIGHT & STARLIGHT SNOWSHOE TOURS



Discover the Cascades under the bright moonlight reflecting off of the white snow, and look for signs of  animals in their nocturnal wonderland! Wanderlust Tours runs monthly moonlight snowshoe trips for the few nights surrounding each full moon from November to April.
Exploring with Wanderlust Tours' renowned naturalist snowshoe guides, tour participants will get away from the light of the city, learn about the constellations, watch for shooting stars and listen for the hush of the nighttime forest of the Cascades.

OREGON WINTERFEST



In the heart of winter, when Mt. Bachelor beckons adrenaline junkies from all over the region, we think it’s only right to celebrate the adventure-packed season of snow with a massive party of fire and ice. Oregon WinterFest is just that. It is Oregon’s party of the winter and 2017 is going to be bigger and better than ever before!

SISTERS FOLK FESTIVAL 2017 WINTER CONCERT SERIES



On Tuesday, February 21, the series will feature serious bluegrass pickers and singers. This bluegrass showcase includes the dobro/guitar duo of Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, and the powerful yet intricate music of the Molly Tuttle Band, each doing their own sets.

MUSE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE



The annual Muse Women’s Conference brings together local women & teens with internationally recognized artists, authors, athletes, entrepreneurs, activists, and social change leaders to celebrate International Women’s Day and kick-off Women’s History Month.

GRIN AND BEAR IT 5K AND 10K RUN/WALK



Held the first Saturday in March and in its 15th year, the Grin and Bear It attracts over 500 runners and walkers leading them through Bend’s Old Mill District and ending at the Les Schwab Amphitheater for a day filled with family-fun games, a 5 & 10 K run/walk as well as a 1-mile family walk/run culminating with an awards ceremony at center stage.
