Pet Parade

A Community Tradition in Downtown Bend since the 1930’s! The Pet Parade is Bend's largest parade with 8,000 spectators and participants. Starting at 10 a.m., the parade winds its way through downtown with an array of different kinds of animals, many of whom will be attired in bizarre costumes. If you or your kids want to march in the parade, the lineup and decorating party takes place at 9 a.m. in the parking lot between Bond and Wall across from the Deschutes Public Library.

Firecracker 100k

This supported 100km group bicycle ride will start at Good Bike Co - 284 NE 3rd St, Prineville, Oregon - and end at Ochoco Creek Park for the Crook County Independence Day Celebration. The route follows the scenic Crooked River south to the Prineville Reservoir, then heads west toward Brasada Ranch for delicious snacks. The route then continues north past Highway 126 before heading back to Prineville and ending at Ochoco Creek Park.

4th of July Free Day at the Deschutes Historical Museum

The Deschutes Historical Museum celebrates its anniversary on the 4^th of July with free admission and free ice cream cups while they last. The Deschutes Historical Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunriver 4th of July Festival

The celebration kicks off with a bike and float parade beginning at the Sunriver Resort and finishing in The Village courtyard. Decorate your bike in red, white and blue to win great prizes. Enjoy the summer fun with lots of free entertainment. Enter the watermelon eating contest, or try your skills at “Hoops” or “Batter’s Up.” Stop by and see the cool fire and police vehicles and talk with our local Police Officers and Fire Fighters. 4th of July All American BBQ Dinner - Brasada Ranch

Bring your friends and family out this 4th of July for an evening filled with festive farm to table dishes, local brews and wines, live music by Aaron Crawford, lawn games, and an unforgettable firework show across the region.
